Dr. Booth - Southhampton, UK - "I'm an amateur from the UK and by chance
(I think I was looking at a long drive forum Incepta.ca?) found out about BCG
products, I started with a #11 in my putter and then toyed with a #3 in my
driver. I got great results in the putter but struggled with the driver, that said,
the weight stayed in the driver and I didn't think any more of it.
On a visit to see my club builder, Zane Navie @ Urban Golf in London,
I was snooping around his workshop while he was building a wedge for
me and saw the shaft stabilizer stuff on his bench and asked if it was
any good, so we whipped out the #3 from my driver and put in the heavy
SS. Long story short - it has made a huge difference. The clearer
perception I have of each backswing seems to help me get into better
positions at the top and I seem to be able to use my instincts to stay
on plane. I suspect the gap between my mental image of what I'm doing
and what I'm actually doing has narrowed significantly thanks to the
strategically positioned weight.
I lost only 1mph ball speed in the driver but the flight improved
significantly and a 10yd fade has turned into a dead straight shot;
resulting in a gain of ~5yds.
It worked so well I decided to put one in my 3W and 3, 4 & 5 hybrids,
expecting to just drop in heavy SS's BUT...
Driver --- heavy
3 wood --- light
3 hybrid --- heavy
4 hybrid --- heavy
5 hybrid --- light
strange!? but the results are tremendous!
